for the first time in the history of the Recording Academy a female solo artist has been nominated for “best metal performance” and it’s our very own mystical maestro Poppy huge congrats we love you this is also the first time since 1999 female artists have been nominated for metal. it is sumerian’s fourth grammy nomination and the third in this category. a big congrats to all the other talented artists we share the nominations with.
