“‘Gone Forever’ has been through a crazy evolution. It started as an eight second loop and by the time we were done with it, I think we worked on the song in the studio for 90 hours. The song’s original sentiment is about the confusing and sometimes lonely path of creating music and art, and how in that process you can kind of disappear and be gone forever.
Having Bones UK on the song took it to the next level. We definitely appreciated Carmen coming into the studio to add guitar in-person, and Rosie’s voice is an amazing addition. And I’ve known GVLLOW since I was 10 years old. We made our first song together in 2015. We have a thorough history and I have a lot of respect for him ending up on this song.” - OmenXIII
